Linksys WRK54G droping download issues.....

I have a WRK54G and it works GREAT except for when I download Larger Files it just drops the Download at a random spot and won't pick it back up. I have to manually Click on the link again and resume the download where is left off. This gets VERY aggrivating when trying to download 100+mb files as I'll usually have to baby sit it and manually resume the download 5 or 6 time. HERE is the catch, IF I set the computer downloading the file to DMZ On it won't drop the download and downloads the whole file without me having to babysit it BUT running DMZ On "leaves the door open" so to speak. I had a D-link Wired router and never had this issue DMZ on OR off.
