Im trying to set up a laptop for my neighbor and Im having this wierd problem with a linsys wireless adaptor where the entire computer will completely freeze up randomly and the only way to get it back unfroozen is to take the card out. At first I thought this was a conflict with the integrated wifi in the Dell Latitude D600. I disabled it under the bios. But I am still getting these wierd lockups. I can't seem to change the IRQ number under windows or the bios. A google search found a couple of similar problems, one that was fixed by disabling some mouse driver:Here. But the only apps that start up under msconfig are 2 ati progs and the card's software. Im stumped. Iv tried reinstalling things many times and I can't get past these lockeps. I also called Linksys's tech support and they told me to get a newer card... Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
