Linksys Wirless network problems please help!

Hey just got my wirless network and installed it. Got one computer hook up through a wirless card, and then one computer hooked directly to the router using cat5. I can access web sites and download stuff but theres are some major problems i have to address that i have no idea what would cause. When i start my download for one it takes forever to search them out on kazaa, now its not allways that way it seems to come in spikes sometimes it will be super fast sometimes super slow. Then when i attmept to connect to oither users and download most the time it wont let me giving me the messxage find other sources, or remotely qued. Then when i do actually get downloads started it will download at a good speed for a few seconds, then my DL speeds just drop like a stone in a pond and oftean times my downloads get disconnected entirely. Then when i download of interent servers like downloading aim itll start out doing well then itll allo f a sudden just stop downloading. It wont allow me to sign on to aol instant messenger at all and i have the newest version. Then the final issue is this when playing games such as diablo 2 or even spades on the computer thats hooked through the wireless card it will boot me out after ever game i leave, and also it lag spikes about every 30-45 seconds. Now all the lights on my router and cable are solid color except of course the send and receive ones on my cable modem, but then the "internet light" on my router continudly flashes never staying solid. I disconnected the network my Downloads and everything worked fine so did aol so did my games. Anyone have any idea what might cause this? Im on a 1.67 athlon xp 2000+ no overclock or anything ive got 1 gig of ddr 266 crucial ram, Gfroce 4 ti 4800, Nforce2 Nf-7s MB and i use the onboard lan card.
