linksys wireless signal booster wsb24?

I have recently started using comcasts high speed internet, and in order to hook up a second computer in another room without paying for a second line, they set up a wireless network in the house. The problem is, the computer that is hooked up wirelessly is on another floor, and I have had a lot of trouble keeping a constant connection. It seems that if the antenna (wusb11) is bumped even a little, the connection is lost and I end up spending the majority of the time slightly moving the antenna in hopes of getting the signal back. Comcast has provided us with a linksys cable gateway (befcmuh4), but I don't know if it would be worth purchasing the wsb24 in hopes that it would somehow boost the signal enough that I could consider playing games online again without fear of constant disconnects. if anyone has any advice on effective ways to boost signal strength or has any experience with the wsb24, please let me know.
