Dear Anandtech members,
I was wondering if there was any accessible method inside the browser control panel of the router (192.168.1.1) that I can snoop who is accessing my network, and if possible, block his mac/ip addresses.
There are numerous reasons why I want to keep my network unsecured and I actually welcome any neighbours who are in need of a connection to use mine, but it seems like somebody may be doing some big downloading, and my entire connection is getting congested.
Is there any method of blocking his mac address or ip address through the panel? I have enabled the incoming/outcoming Log's, but haven't found that to be very helpful in regards to what I want to do. If I cannot do this well enough in the control panel, is there a recommended application that people use to do exactly what I desire?
Cheers,
Danny
