Linksys Wap 11 Client Mode?

My original post didn't seem to gather any responses, so I shall rephrase. Does the client mode of the Linksys Wap11 make the access point just seem like a normal 802.11 client?
Thanks

Original Post:
I'm trying to connect my router to a cisco access point. Do I have to use a cisco workgroup bridge, or can I use a linksys wap11 configured as a bridge? I'm not sure how the cisco access point is setup, but I was told the cisco workgroup bridge will work, but that's too spendy for me.

Thanks for the reply! So, if I configure a wap11 as a client and plug that into my router's Internet port.. I should be okay? Is the client mode routeable?

Just an update: I bought a Linksys WET11 and it worked like a charm. No need for the $450 Cisco workgroup bridge (unless you need LEAP). The WET11 was $90!
