Linksys USB Network Adapter installation problems.

I can't install a Linksys USB Network Adapter with a Rogers@home cable modem. Computer detect usb adapter but can't install driver from disk, keep saying unable to find drivers. I download the 75 KB zip file from Linksys and extract it to a disk. It has three files usb100tx.inf, usb100tx.sys and usb100tx.cat Am I missing any files? The Adapter is Model USB100TX.

I am not sure that this will help, but give it a try?

Take the USB out, reboot the computer, make sure that there is no ghost adapter in Control Panel ? System Properties. If there is a ghost adapter remove it, and reboot.

Plug the USB adapter after the reboot (when every thing is loaded), and try again.

Make sure that the drivers match the OS.

Hi JackMDS'
I did that I have the driver its on the Rogers@home CD, I've pointed it to the location on the CD but keep saying windows is unable to locate drivers. BTW this is after a fresh install.
