Linksys Router WRT54GX2 (SRX200) problem

I have a new Linksys WRT54GX2 (AKA SRX200) router, it is setup and seems to be working fine but the problem I am having is I can?t login to the admin config via a browser, I get to the password portion, I enter it then it will hang after that and won?t allow me to get to the console, I have tried different browsers and PCS, even unplugged it for a while, any ideas as to why?

Not typing in the password correctly?
Try hard resetting the router, then try again using default passwords/settings.

Are you doing this wirelessly? If so, that's always flaky.

I suggest accessing and altering the router config via a PC actually connect via physical Ethernet cable to the router.

Thanks for the replies, but the password is correct and I am connected via ethernet cable, I haven't tried a hard reset yet, because I didn't want to loose all my settings, but it looks like I will have to.
