Linksys router with weird connections, problem

My computer (home from college) is uber fast on the DSL. The home computer used to be hooked to the modem, now routed through the Linksys. When we try to use the net on it, it loads part the page then stops for a LONG time. The activity indicator shows my computer active and the home computer inactive, but connected. Almost like it starts (blinking) then stops (solid) and switches all activity and focus back at my computer. But it's on the net. Google can load, as can some others, but it is very sporadic. Any insight on to how it can do both equally fast?

Might be spyware related. Run winsockxp fix and your favortie flavor of spyware removing software. I personally like Microsoft AntiSpyware.
