Hey guys,
My setup is a dsl 302g modem set to bridging mode then connected to a linksys befsr41 v2 router. Problem is, one day the router just stopped getting signals from the wan port.
I've tried connecting straight to the modem and it works. I've also tried replacing the ethernet cables and resetting all hardware. (hard reset)
Any suggestions? cos i got no idea.
BTW, to set up the modem for bridging i just deleted the ppp entry in the WAN submenu, and then installed a e0a-1 entry in the bridging interface (with a lower interface of aal5-0 and using dhcp) After this i just setup the router using my isp details.
i got the 1.46.02 firmware on the router too.
it's just strange cos one day it just stopped working.
