Linksys router only creates LAN servers...

When I either play Quake 3 or Ps2(which is hooked up to my network) and I wanna creat a server it only creates a server within the LAN and not out on the internet. I seem to have no problems creating a game in HL though. But I also have the same problem setting up an FTP server where it only creates one visible to my own LAN. I have a 1 port Linksys cable/dsl router with a 5 port linksys hub connected to it. Is there anyway to get this changed so I can create a server that is visible to the outside world??

determine which ports the games use. and enable pass through on those ports in the router setup.
I have a dlink and the admin page for that feature is called Virtual Server.

I think maybe you should read up on your manual. Pay attention to the forwarding section. According to the Linksys site the new manual has the forwarding ports section on page 28.
