I've tried this a few of times and it doesn't work.
I have linksys Wireless DSL/Cable router BEFW11S4 and motorla Surfboard SB5120 cable modem. The router was my girlfriend's and is about 3 years old. I have followed the instructions to setup the router on Cox given my linksys and it still doesn't work. I have also updated to the latest firmwire on the router.
When Iplug the modem into the router none of the WAN lights come on at all (Yes I am plugging it into the WAN port). For laughs I plugged the modem into one of the other ports and I got all the connection lights. Is it possible to have a fried WAN port or do you think my problem is something else?
