Linksys Router and Pacbell DSL Question

Hi:

I am having same high ping problem as usual w/ everyone here (i live in LA, rosemead) 🙁

but my question, since i am using the router home, how can i know which redback (maybe (LSAN03)) i connecting? I used to use RapPPPoE so i could tell, but not now.

Also is that possiable i can switch it by config the router?

If you want to know which redback you are going out through, then just head to Visual Route, use the live demo and when its finished loading hit the button with your IP on it, it will give you the rback info.
Ignore, I see you already asked the same question over at DSL Reports.
 
there's no way for you to switch redback routers AFAIK. I'm on rback5 (Riverside), and I think Rosemead is on rback3. just ping your gateway and it'll tell you the name from DNS resolution.

Had some problem this morning, called PBI/SBC to found out that they got major problem with both rback5 and rback3 today.. I think it finally got resolved about 11pm here (on rback5 anyway).

I agree Visual Route is a great software...
