Linksys logs

Any idea where linksys actually stores the log files?

I gave it the IP of my workstation to send logs to, but upon a brief scan I couldn't find where this file physically was. Any idea?

I haven't played around with the logging functions that much but to my understanding it just broadcasts the data to your pc. Its up to your computer to do something with it then. I think they give some crappy log analysis software away but I saw something called Link Logger (shareware I think) that looked to really make the logs more useful.

I'm assuming this is a BEFSRxx router. In which case you need Linksys's LogViewer or something like mentioned earlier (WallWatcher).

Most likely it's trying to send the logs to your computer via syslog, which is one (of many important IMHO) things Windows doesn't do out of the box.

Linksys uses some proprietary standard, I think. It would be nice if Cisco fixed that aspect of Linksys routers.
