Which one should I purchase? Both are 10/100 PCI cards. The only real difference seems to be brand name recognition where it comes to 3Com, and that 3Com also ships managment software with their card. But it seems that 3Com doesnt support Linux, or atleast doesnt have drivers for it, while Linksys seems to have drivers for damn near everything :) Also, the Linksys card is selling for about $12-15 less than the 3Com. Any recommendations?

I'd just snag the Linksys as it's cheaper and you'll find a ton of people using and recommending that card. I personally have a 3com 3C905-B TX 10/100 card and I know Redhat Linux has recognized it on install for several years (ie it works instantly even from the net install floppy). You won't find 3com supplying linux drivers but if you check the supported hardware for your distribution of choice I bet many of the 3com cards will be listed there (unfortunately I don't know about the SOHO ones).

They perform about the same and both are good cards. I've used tons of linksys cards and they're hard to beat price/performance. Great cards.

I'd go with Linksys as well. I have these setup on all my computers. No problems whasoever, and they're pretty fast.
