I'm currently using one of these with the stock firmware and it seems to be working fine. These probably won't get any more firmware updates so you'll need to consider other firmwares. I mostly used wired connections except for my phone and tablet. Make sure to look over the wiki on slickdeals at the above link. Slickdeals also has other threads on the same router.

Yes, no updates. Once one of the 3rd party firmwares mature I'll update the firmware. You should probably only buy this if you plan to update the firmware. I grabbed one since I only had a AC router.
