Linksys KVM switch?

I picked up the Linksys 2PC KVM switch a few days ago because I wanted to bring both of my systems into one room using one keyboard/mouse/monitor. It worked out perfect at first. When I was playing one of the many FPS games I play my kvm switch would just turn over to the second computer. I thought the cables had come loose so I checked em out but they seemed ok. So like any advanced, and thick headed, computer user, I decided to break out the manual 🙂 It turns out that they put in shortcut keys with the Shift and Control buttons. You can double tap twice on the Ctrl button to switch over to the second computer. The shift key is used for somthing else but I don't remember what. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if there is a way to disable them or at the least be able to set them to another key. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
