if anyone buys a pair of those, id be willing to trade a dlink 5port and a dlink 8port for the two linksys ones....
 
These are decent if you need a small switch for a home LAN. I paid $30 AR for mine, a few years back. I have had some issues with incompatibilities between it and other NICs though. The cause is unknown whether it was the NIC or the switch, but those NICs worked with other switches. The picture on Amazon doesn't have any size reference to it, but physically, although they are of a similar shape to LinkSys's routers, they are much smaller. The 5-port switch will fit into the palm of your hand. I stack mine on top of my external 4-port USB hub, they are the same size.
