linksys etherfast router not working with earthlink dsl

after an agonizing month of being without dsl for no reason (earthlink's fault), i'm back online... but kinda. i need a router to connect all 3 computers at my place to the internet, but we can't connect to dsl (it's pppoe) and the page that i used to be able to configure the router with doesn't even load up anymore (the http://192.168.1.1 one). any thoughts?

Have you tried resetting the router back to factory defaults, then try and brouse to it? ( make sure you have all your setup info before you reset it, like dns settings and such.)

resetting it and then re-typing in all info should fix this problem. at least it did for me
