Linksys EtherFast Cable/DSL Router

I was curious if anyone is using the Linksys router with PPPoE. I am looking to purchase this device but have come across a question last night after reviewing the documentation on Linksys' website.

They mention to make a connection using PPPoE, you must click on the "CONNECT" tab (I'm assuming from a web browser interfacing with the config utility on the router).

Does this have to be done every time? If you have the router set up to do connect on demand, will it automatically establish the link if you are using PPPoE?

Thanks!

I just hooked my Linksys DSL/Cable Router up last night. I connect with PPOE and once you input your ISP info (user name, password), the router does the connecting. All I have to do is click on the Internet Explorer and the router has the modem connect. I can do it from any of the three computers on my LAN. I love the router and it works great so far. I am very impressed. Hope this helped.

Sounds really good. The way their documentation sounded is you'd have to tell it to connect every time. Thanks a bunch, I'll go get mine on order!
