BY chance does anyone who got in on this still have a copy or scan of their receipt? If so, please PM me or reply to the thread. I searched everywhere for mine for the rebate on three units, but it has disappeared...thanks for your help.

If someone can scan their's and pm me it with a link or something? I'd really appreciate it.

Do cut off your personal information when doing this :)

Thanks in advance.

The buy it date is expired, but you have until 1-31-01 to send it in.

Anybody, who bought more than one kit AND sent in for the Sygate CD's, did you get more than one CD out of them, and if so, did you mail the requests separately?

Anybody besides me get NO Lanbridge or Sygate in their kits even though the sticker on the box says Lanbridge?

I ordered mine on the 30th, and finally got it today.

Will the order date qualify for the rebate? The rebate says the 31st, but I'm wondering if it qualifies due to the ship date.

If you got a web site or email copy of the transaction (something that could be like a receipt) or if the slip that came with the box shows the transaction was done on the 30th, you should be okay. You could try emailing them just in case.

ghouldini -

The receipt has the order date in bold, so I should be ok!

(I'm still going to make copies of everything, just to be on the safe side. I fought, and won a rebate denial from Maxtor by doing that..)

Just found out some info from Linksys......Sygate has it's own built in firewall. And you can't disable it to run Zone Alarm instead. If you try to run both ZA & Sygate there will be problems. The Sygate is far better than the LANBridge. If you got the Sygate, you can go to Sygate's web site and download the latest version (if you have like 3.4 can get 4.1 or something - the CSR said).
I would prefer to use ZA as my firewall. Since I have Win98SE, is it's sharing setup good enough for 2 computers to share the internet using ZA as my firewall, or would the Sygate still be better?
I saw a test where ZA went against Sygate in firewall comparison and the Sygate had "holes" in it....not secure enough. Don't know what version of Sygate was tested though. They wouldn't send me both the LANBridge and the Sygate. I do have access to another software called "Winroutelite" (came free on a CD) but know nothing about it.
What does anybody else run for a setup - that's secure and works good. (2 computers in my LAN)?
