Linksys E2500 - flashed Tomato firmware - issues

I bought a refurb'd Linksys E2500 from Amazon and flashed the Shibby Tomato firmware on it. Upgraded to the latest version which I think was released a couple of days back.

In my 20 hours if experience running it, I'm having constant issues with sudden loss of wifi connectivity. This is happening on multiple devices. Phones report "not in range" and laptops don't show the SSID for the duration when the loss happens.

Interestingly, the SSIDs come back in range on their own in a matter of a few minutes.

I'm not sure what the issue is but thought I'll check with the forum first before I get off of this firmware.
I did erase the NVRAM after installing Tomato.

Any tips or clues will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm running an E2500 factory refurb I got from the Cisco homestore, flashed with Shibby Tomato (1.10 I think). Works pretty well. I have FIOS, and am using an IPv6 tunnel through HE.net. Tomato has support for that.

I think I've only had the wifi on my laptop glitch once, in several months since I moved here.

I would flash back to original firmware and test for a few days to see if it's a firmware issue or a hardware issue. It is a refurb after all.

Have you solve this problems yet? I have the same problem with my E2500.

Currently running 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-116 K26 USB Max

I wouldn't expect an answer from the OP. He hasn't been back since the day he registered and started this thread.

Nonetheless, you could try my suggestion of testing with the original firmware to rule out a software issue.
