Has anyone tried to download drivers from Linksys recently?
Go here http://www.linksys.com/download/ and try and download your driver for WUSB 11 Version 4 wireless adapter. This is by far the most sold item Linksys has. There are 6 different drivers all labeled WUSB 11. You need to click on each one. Then click on Drivers on the next page. Then click on Download version info for this driver. Don't bother trying this if you have the Version 4, the current version which has been out for over a year, its not there.
Look at the other listed drivers. Check out the WPC 11 card. Four different listings. No other info given. Once again you must go thru the sequence for each one and hope they have your version.
If you email support as I did are told to check the ftp server at <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/network/"><a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/network/"><a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/network/">ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/network/</a></a></a>
Go ahead and check it out. What a mess! There is not even any info on what OS each driver supports!
Therefore after years of selling Linksys products in my shop I have now rated their driver support "UNACCEPTABLE" and have discontinued sales of Linksys wireless adapters in my computer shop until (if?) Linksys fixes this mess.
