I have a problem with my Linksys BEFW11S4 V.2 loosing its connection every few mins or even a few seconds. I can get a connection again if i reset the linksys, but then loose it again a few min / seconds later.

Im on AT&T Cable, in Los Angeles - LANcity Modem (given to me by AT&T)

Both wireless and wired connections into the linksys Wireless AP + Cable Router die out. Wired comp is running Win ME, Wireless comp is on Win XP.

1. Make sure you're using the latest drivers.
2. Upgrade the firmware.
3. Use only one computer straight into the cable modem and see if you drop, if you don't and #1 & #2 did not work, call Linksys tech support.

1. Im using the latest drivers on both NIC's
2. Only one firmware available on this model
3. Using a wired computer straight into the cable modem it works perfect, no drop offs.

One thing that questions me it might be the cable modem, its quite old. I got it some 5 years ago when cable modems just came around. They've moved to Toshiba and RCA models,.

It could be a possibility. I've seen crap COM21 modems not like being hooked to Linksys routers. Provision a diff modem and have no problem. I'd still call Linksys.
