well, its seems my friends have got the best of me. One of them changed my password from its oem settings of no user and the password being "admin" to something unknown. I really need to be able to access my routers control panel, and i am wondering if any of you know a way to do it. Linksys tech support hasnt replied to my emails at all (and the 800# is busy) Any help would be appreciated.

According to the linksys web page (wow, its amazing that they have data about their products there ;)), you need to hold the reset button until the red Diag light comes on. This takes about 5s.

I accidently changed the password to something unknown. I press the reset button and everything did reset to default including the password. I don't know why yours doesn't works. Might be defectived unit, maybe?
