Linksys BEFSR41 v.2 Version ?

Not sure if it works for Linksys, but I know for my Cisco it's "show ver".

Just telnet into it, "show ver", viola!

Bring up the browser page for the router and click status. Right next to firmware it tells what version you are running. Mine is 1.40.2. Last I checked (week or 2 ago) it was the latest firmware version. You can check their site to see if they have a newer one.

<< I just purchased this router. How can I tell what firmware version it has installed. >>

After you find out what your firmware is you should install 1.39.
1.4 is for if you use ZoneAlarmPro or PC-cillin .
I think I remember someone saying that 1.4 can actually slow things down a bit.
