So I have a motorola 4100 and it seems as though the newer speed upgrades from Comcast is not working too good with the modem since I only see a speed downgrade to 2mbits instead of my regular 6mbits. I'm considering buying either a Motorola 5100/5120 or the Linksys befcmu10 version 4. Over at the DSLreports forums people are praising the Linksys version 4 over the motorola 5120. It seems as though the motorola 5120 has problems keeping a hold of signals and the 5100 is discontinued.
