Linksys Access Point showing up as @ for SSID

I have a Linksys WAP11 Access Point Version 2.2 and a Cisco Aironet 352 PCMCIA Card. I set up the access point to not broadcast the SSID and now Windows XP is picking up the access point SSID as @. It won't let me connect to it and when I type in the SSID manually in the Preferred Wireless Networks, it has an unavailable icon next to it but @ is still available.

I have no encryption as of yet and can't figure out what is going on.

Please help me out!

Are you allowing XP to handle your wirless connection ?
If so DONT!
Go get the latest Aironet drivers and software.
