Linksys 8 port router/switch.. any thoughts...

Well I just found out that I can only register 3 mac addresses with my schools server! So I need to get a router/swtich so that I can get all 5 of my machines on line at once. I am looking at a lynksys 8 port router/switch. Any good or bad things I need to know?

I have used this in its 1, 4, and 8 port configurations and found it to be reliable and easy to work with. And yes, this will resolve your need to only require one IP address, yet access with all five systems at once.

I have had ZERO issues with the 4 port I set up for me (with several ports forwarded to various rigs) and the one I set up at my parents house!
