Linksys 10/100 NIC - Turbo?

Installed a new Linksys 10/100 NIC in my system and was running DIAG to check it out. After passing the tests I noticed a Turbo feature and it was disabled. Anyone know what this feature does? I can find no documentation of this feature, either in the manual (yes, I read them🙂) or their web site. I e-mailed Linksys this question, but have not receive a reply - yet. I enabled the feature and don't see any difference between when it is enabled or disabled, at least that I can tell.
