Is it alright to post links to mp3's? I get a couple pm's or email a week from other members asking for access to my FTP server.
 
if they are copyrighted NO
if they are open source YES
if there is anything copyrighted on your FTP server and people have access to it NO
if not YES.

It doesn't matter if it's copyrighted as long as that person owns that MP3 in some physical, legal form (I know people who say "well you're just giving an excuse, why wouldnt they just rip it? If you're on high-speed connect, a lot of the time it's just easier and more convenient to dl it from someone rather than having to go through the trouble of ripping it)
