Hot Hardware K2 Review

New DirectX 8 beta build 648

I thought the Hothardware did a nice fair job in the review. Nice 3dmark scores....

Stomped MP review

Good news to all V5 owners all of his work was done on a 800, V5 here is what he had to say:

<< The graphics in the game set a very high standard as far as detail is concerned. Textures are photo realistic, and characters look almost real. The best part is that it does not require a super high-end system to get the detail. I was playing on an 800MHz system with a Voodoo 5 5500. The graphics details were turned up all the way and I never found a moment where the game was noticeably slowed. That is not to say that you won?t want a speedy system to get the most enjoyment out of the game?s graphics, but the requirements are not as staggering as one might think. >>

Finally Extreme Looks at all of the Graphics

Some users may be concerned that the lack of Hardware T&L and other DirectX 8 features may shorten the lifespan of the 3D Prophet 4500. It handled Dronez and 3D Mark 2001 just fine though, and they are a good example of what game developers have in store for us in the coming months. If you are in the market for a good mid-range gaming card, you are short changing yourself if you don't consider the 3D Prophet 4500. We give the 3D Prophet 4500 a HotHardware Heat Meter rating of..."
