Links in Outlook Express don't work?!

Friend's computer. When he gets a link of any kind sent to him in Outlook Express, nothing happens when he clicks on it (Internet Explorer doesn't navigate to that page). Have you ever heard of that happening? What's the fix?

There should be a setting to turn on HTML in there somewhere... Also, if You make an Email with a link to send to someone, it won't work until You send it (You can send it to Yourself to check it).
