To follow up after lunch conversation, I'm looking for links to two things that the local linkmongers might be able to help me with:
1) A post on ATOT where links were dropped mid-thread of photos of terrible death-metal photos... a couple links, one of which was a top-10 worst kind of thing. In particular, one of the photos had a band member with a zillion huge nails coming from a bracer on his arm.
2) A youtube (or otherwise) movie of a guy who spliced together a whole song from single notes on a synth and a drum or two. Pretty vague, I know, and it was probably copied more than a few times.
