Linking Printer Settings to Word Templates

Is it possible to get a Template in Word XP to pick up a certain set of settings set for the printer?

I have a couple of different types of documents I need printing, some need certain colour settings and going into Print Settings, choosing a saved preset and printing gets a bit tiresome. I was wondering if I could save the specific Print Settings into the Template in Word so it automatically detects what document has been created and selects the appropriate settings so its a simple case of pressing 'Print'

Any help would be appreciated.

Would it be possible to define psuedo printers that have the setting that you need.

Then either change around the default printer or make a printer selection (using User smarts).

The printer is a multi-tray beast. I have letterhead paper (the headed part is there already) in 1 tray, regular A4 in another.... sometimes I'll need a letterhead + document, sometimes just a document and sometimes just letterhead.

Since I rarely do these tasks in a large batch, its a bit annoying to switch printer settings every single time. I use templates a lot (mail merge) so I was wondering if specific printer settings could be saved to the template itself so the printer automatically sets itself up without my intervention.
