Linkin Park song question

I bought the Reanimation CD at wal-mart because I assumed there was no explicit version of the cd. On H! Vltg3 (Evidence featuring Pharoahe Monch & DJ Babu) it sounds like some words are blipped out, is there an unedited version of this song or am I hearing things?

Never buy a CD from Wallyworld if you want the "explicit" (regular) version.

I got my copy from Best Buy last night. The words are blipped out on my cd as well. Maybe its supposed to be like that?

CDNow (which stocks both explicit and clean versions of an album if they exist) only has one version, and it's not flagged as explicit. My guess is there is no explicit version to appease people who like their "no swearing" policy.

They just edit out the word sh!t on the cd...

I noticed that too, but c'mon, for 3 swear words in one song, it wouldn't be worth it to have an explicit and edited cd, would it?

Yep, though you people shouldn't be surprised. Hybrid Theory didn't have any explicit language on it either.
