I searched on the Google 20-year USENET archive and found what appears to be my first posting. September 29, 1992. Note that even then I was calling myself "Matrix". "Deter" is short for determinant, which is a property of a mathematical matrix.

The shoe rumor IS true, however I can't remember exactly where it is at the moment.

Also, I wasn't able to rent the Triology in a letterbox format. I had to end up buying it, before the days of widescreen VHS and DVD's. It cost me about $110! :Q:Q:Q

Not just greatness: *OLD* greatness . I'm too ridiculously happy about finding a 1992 post where I called myself "Matrix". I like to think I was almost the first adopter of that online nickname.
