I read about 3.08 being slower, which is what I have unfortunately.

Does anyone have a link to get the older version?

I needed a client while in a hotel in Detroit and all I could find was 3.08. Well, I went ahead and installed it. Funny thing is I am only getting VLAR WUs to process. I need to load 3.03 and see the difference. Someone can email you the 3.03 client if you wish.

3.08 gui got me about 4 hr WU time. 3.03 cml gets about 2:30. IE I save about 38% time per WU using the 3.03 CLI. The difference is really big.

I am saving an hour. GUI ran about 4 hours per WU, CLI is doing about 3.

Though i've never taken the time to look thru, most versions can be found here. Hmmm... link doesn't seem to be working now. It was earlier.
Anyway, just alter this link:

to
ftp://alien.ssl.berkeley.edu/pub/setiathome-3.03.i386-winnt-cmdline.exe
to get v3.03 or i suppose any other version you want.

Thanks for the LINKY - taking a Citrix class today thru Friday, so I should have at least these 4 days of relatively uninterupted production on at least my PC.. maybe more. 🙂
