link to asus k8V bios flash?

I want to flash my k8V bios from 1003 to 1005 but can't find any links of the correct procedure to do so?

anyone have a step by step link pls?

Format a floppy as boot disk. When you right click your floppy drive should be an option to check with XP. Otherwise you can go to www.bootdisk.com and make one. Then copy the files you extracted to the floppy. Restart computer with floppy in drive when you get the A: prompt just type K8V1005.exe and it'll flash the bios.

Your K8V should of came with software that could flash the bios with the use of an application. Point and Click, done.

Should be same for Win2000 make a boot disk copy files to it restart and type K8V1005.exe at the a: prompt. The executable is so you don't have to type your flash commands manually. Asus already made the executable for you. Make sure to remember your settings in bios since they'll probably be reset to default.

Asus says not to use the Windows flashing program. "Please flash BIOS using K8V1005.exe, and do not flash from 1001, 1002 or 1003 to version 1004 through EZFlash/AFUDOS/LiveUpdate"

Asus has the exe and the bios that you need on their site
