Link in Emails for threads I subscribed to shoudl take me to the last page or last post.

Didn't see this posted already so pardon if it's a duplicate.

Subject should be self explanatory. If I subscribe to a thread, then when I get emaield that there's a reply, i don't want to see the beginning of the thread, I want to see what's new which is the end of the thread. If there's no way to take me directly to the new post, at least take me to the last page. But since each post has it's on Tag number the subscription email should include that so I go right to the new reply.

Not sure about going to the individual posts, but the problem with going to a specific page is that each person can have their profile set to display a different number of posts per page. If the server were to direct you to a specific page, it would have to pull up your profile each time it sent you an email / PM. IIRC, the last time this came up, Zuni said that it would kill the servers if this type of feature were added, so basically, It won't be happening.

But yes, I agree, if it were possible to take us to the specific post, I would love that feature as well.

Well normally there's a "LastPage" option that will just take the user to whatever their last page would be. Then it doesn't need to load up the specific page number or anything, just go to Last.

But since each post gets coded with a Post ID (for lack of a better word) the link in the notification email should just include the # label at the end to go to the specific thread.
