lingo problems

after a period of time, i lose the dialtone from the phones connected to the lingo box. this isn't good, because the grandmother is staying with us for a few days, and she's old... well it goes with out explaining... access to the phone is mandatory.

i have my lingo adapter behind me wrt54g, with the highest priority set for the mac address of the lingo box.

i've port fowarded the following to the lingo box:

1020-1032
5060-5065
10000-20000

i've switched between gateway and bridge mode, and vice versa.

i don't know what's going on here, but it's very frustrating to have phone services for a few minutes then lose the ability to make or receive calls.
