Hey guys here is the dea just got back from Xmas in WI and I checked my laptop in with baggage and now when I got home I have any where from 1 to like 5 or 6 lines going up and down on my screen.. if I flex the screen a little bit they go away.. any idea's guy I really don't wanna just throw it away becuase of some thing stupid but these lines are killing me. Also a point to make is yea I as sorry to say but it is a D@LL..
 
Something heavey sat on your laptop. Thats why you should never check your laptop. Always carry it with you.

The screen may have a loose cable or the connections allong the side of the glass that energize the pixels hase been damaged. That would mean its just about permanant. Doesn't mean the laptop is junked just means you need a new screen for it. But the replacment will run you about $150 to $300. Probably more then the laptop is worth right now.
