My HT set-up is near complete (pics will be posted when finished) as my powered subwoofer will arive on Monday, 56lbs of goodness!

I want to ensure the money I've spent does not go poof and feel that investing $70 in some accessories is money well spent. Plus I've read I'll have a reduction in noise in the system with better sound & picture quality

Products that have been recommended inlude the Tripp-Lite ISOBAR surge suppressors as well as Monster Cable accessories. MSRP of Monster products is ridiculous but ebay/froogle/pricegrabber is much more to my liking with 60% off MSRP. Plus they have visual appeal.

Here are the products I'm looking at and space is a concern so no suggesting any rack mount units .

Monster PowerBar 1100 Parts Express $200 Ebay price is $70 shipped to my door

Monster HTS1000 MKII Power Center Parts Express $150">http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=185-169</a> Ebay price is $60 to my door

Tripplite Isobar 8 Parts Express $70 Ebay value about $50

Any reason why I shouldn't spend $60 - $70 on a Monster unit, and if so, why and whats better for the money? Budget is set at $70.
