Line by line boot process for WinXP

I'm not sure what it's called and I forget how to do it, but how do you enable the line-by-line boot up to see each process as bios and Windows loads? I've tried googling and going to various Windows help sites, but have come up empty.

Hitting f8 during boot up and choosing Safe Mode will show you everything it is loading, however it scrolls by so fast, you probably won't get much use out of it. Unless it gets stuck, then you'll see what the last thing was that loaded before it got stuck.

Also, IIRC, the was an option in the f8 boot screen that let you confirm each loading module. It's been years since I've done it though, and this may have been a 2000 or NT thing that is no longer in XP (and it's too late at night for me to check for myself 🙂 ).

Yes, that's what I'm reffering to. I'll give that a whir. Thank you!
