Line Across LCD ?

I have a ViewSonic VA1912wb and there is a horizontal line across the display. It is just a bit lighter. It is right about eye level and is very annoying.

This monitor was bought at the end of December. Why would this line have appeared? I am using analog input.

Thanks for any advice!!
 
Do you still have the line if you plug the monitor into a different computer (or disconnect the VGA cable completely from the computer)? If so, then it's a problem with the panel itself and would qualify for a warranty replacement. if it only happens when connected to your PC then it may be a problem with your video card or with the VGA cable.
