John C Calhoun, my favorite second generation American statesman, would be ashamed of the 2008 South Carolina majority. Time will only tell if he'd be ashamed of the 2014 majority, but it looks like he will be since Bob Conley won't even run again.

Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to L Graham getting his Wilsonian ass kicked for putting America in danger.

That's true, he would probably be enraged by the fact that the South Carolina delegation opposes slavery. (presumably)
 
He was one of only a few Democrats to vote against the Mexican American War.

And he believed that the wholesale enslavement of races based on their genetic inferiority was not simply not a bad thing, but actually a good thing for the enslaved.

He was a really disgusting individual, a true monster.
