Ahem... not to bring the lovel P&N into here but, he really isn't our president (That would be good ol dubya).

Lindsay Lohan can get as ugly as she wants (within reason now ;)), i still would not watch Clinton...

actually the term 'president' is a lifetime term and is used up until death (back to P&N please)

Actually to be politically correct it would be former president. He is no longer the president.

/end

I still wish Lindsay Lohan was back to her old self. Damn i remember way back when, my sisters were watching some movie with 2 of her in it... then a couple years later i look at her and im like, "Wow she got hot!".

Alien is correct in that "president" is a lifetime title. Gaming is correct only to the extent that using the term "former" is merely a distinction.

Thus, were you to speak directly to either Clinton or Daddy Bush, you would address them, respectively, as President Clinton or President Bush. One would use the term "former" in an explanation of each man's current status.

I'd watch a Clinton interview over a Lohan interview, as well, which I did.

I was already watching Leno and had no clue that Clinton was going to be on Letterman.

Letterman and Clinton were talking about their surgery, so I decided to switch to Leno, an even more boring interview there. So I switched back to Letterman.

I think the distinction needs to be made because it OP said "the president." Had he said President Clinton, the former might not be necessary, but when someone says the president, the should be talking about Bush.

ah, but if you remember at the white house for Clinton's potrait, Bush actually refer to Clinton as "the president" in a speech too.

but then again jon stewert did a "psssst, psssst, YOU ARE the president " to Bush.
