10-25-2004 Lindsay Lohan admitted to an LA area hospital with High Fever

Hollywood "It Girl" LINDSAY LOHAN, the fiery star of 'Mean Girls,' was admitted to an LA area hospital Thursday, the Insider's MARC MALKIN has learned. Sources revealed the hardworking star has been suffering from high fevers. Family members flew in from New York on Friday to be by her side. "She is in the hospital due to high fever and the doctors are running tests," her rep tells Malkin.

Lohan is currently shooting 'Herbie: Fully Loaded.' But during any free time -- mostly evenings -- the 18-year-old actress has been recording her debut CD. She is scheduled to start filming 'Lady Luck' next month in New York and New Orleans.

I know this sounds cruel, but I hope this is the case. Lohan is a beautiful and talented young actress, but it really seems like the fame has gotten to her head. She needs a slice of humble pie, IMO.
