Lincoln LS

Thinking about buying a 2001-2003 Lincoln LS. Anybody have one and care to comment on? How is the reliability? I've got the mentality that imports>domestic but I am willing to give this one a shot just because I love the way these cars look inside and out.

Great car, '03 had the slight redesign so I'd go for one of those. 282hp v8, great looks, good size, roomy for much less than $20k = win.

Get a Black one and put 15% tint on it. Thats what i have and its awesome. I also have a really nice audiobahn system. 2000watt custome built in.

Surprised I don't see more of these with the ghetto fab blingity bling, seeing as how the resale value isn't too great. I'd expect lots of young 20-30 year-olds would be buying them and puttin' on dubs, custom grill, candy paint etc.

The manual doesn't come in V8 I beleive.. But the thing that bothers me, is when checking on the autotrader website for 2001-2003, I am getting prices from $12k-$22k (CAD) with similar mileage. Any owners????

Will Lincoln have its own version of the Ford Five Hundred or will they just have the Zephyr going forward? Sucks that the only Lincoln sedan with a V8 is the stupid Continental.

How much did it cost?

112,000 miles, (dad drove it everyday 70 miles to work, for 5 years)
Automatic
Bad Brakes, just cause been driving for a while
Very Bad back window motors, had to get replaced (for free)

When we got it he paid obout 45G's for it. Now with all the miles it's probably worth 10G's.

Since they made changes to the 2003 model you think it would be better to get a 2003 with higher mileage or a 2002 with lower? I've been reading nothing but positive reviews for this car so far and I think I might be buying a used one.
