Limiting users' network drive sizes

I have a network environment with about 50 staff and 300 or so students, each with their own AD login. Each login has its own network drive, mapped to H:. I am looking for a way to limit the size of these H: drives based on privilidges assigned in AD security settings - such as 50MB for each student, 200 for staff, more for the few staff members who really need it. At the moment each H: drive has no size limit but we're running into issues with the backup system not being able to back up the entire server.

I looked around in AD and checked MS's knowledgebase and didn't really find anything like this. Do you know of a 3rd party application that can do this?
